Our 5 acre homestead in rural Dundee, OH is home to our beautiful AKC American and English Cream Golden Retrievers. Golden Retrievers are truly America's finest family dog. With a friendly and loyal personality, Golden Retrievers are the ultimate family pet, good with kids and eager to please!
Buckeye Golden Retrievers started in 2005 with the arrival of our first litter of Golden Retrievers from our family pet, Mocha. I quickly fell in love with the friendly and loyal ways of our Golden Retriever. I was 12 years old at the time. A distinct memory I have from childhood was holding a Golden Retriever puppy the night that my Grandpa passed away. I remember the feeling of comfort that puppy brought to me. I'm sure many of you resonate with that special bond.
Our Buckeye families come from all over the USA, with a large majority coming from within our very own Buckeye state, Ohio. Thank you for trusting us with this special part of your life! We look forward to many more years of breeding high quality Golden Retrievers. World Class Genetics
As Buckeye Goldens continued growing and evolving, our #1 priority became breeding Goldens with the best genetics. All of our Goldens are genetic tested. This is an important part of ensuring we do not breed Golden Retrievers with genetic diseases in their DNA. In 2021, we imported 2 Champion World Class European Golden Retrievers from a top of the line breeder in Europe. Both Max and Skye are genetic tested and have FCI clearances on hip, elbow, heart, and eyes.
Breeding Standards and Setup
Today, Buckeye Goldens is comprised of a closed group of several small, professional breeders. I (Marcellus) breed and raise Goldens in our newly-finished facility on my 5 acre country homestead in Dundee, OH. Josh, Marcus, and Micah are Buckeye Team Members with a combined 40+ years of experience. I work closely with each trusted member of our team to ensure that our standards are met, including everything from genetics to puppy socialization and everything in between. This collaboration enables us to make Golden Retriever puppies available to you throughout the year, while giving our Goldens the quality life they deserve. All of our Buckeye Golden pups come with a 2 year genetic health guarantee and lifetime breeder support. We promise transparency and welcome your questions about our breeding practices.

Raising our puppies in the best environments and following best-practice vaccination and deworming protocols. 3. Providing you with a personalized, fun, and professional experience from start to finish. We help match you with the right puppy by completing personality tests on each puppy. Additionally, we provide weekly update photos as the puppies grow! 4. Working closely with board-certified veterinarians to ensure you are getting a healthy, vet-checked puppy.

Marcellus Beachy
Founder
An entrepeneur at heart, Marcellus invests a lot of his time running Buckeye Goldens. He's responsible for all communications, website design and management, and of course raising Goldens! He serves as a firefighter/paramedic and is a fitness and outdoor enthusiast.
Josh Yoder
Team Member
Josh is a committed father and husband to his wife and 3 young children. Josh and his family raise 3-6 litters of Goldens each year and have an absolute blast along the way! Also serving in fire/ems, Josh has a heart for helping people and finds fulfillment in serving his community and breeding healthy Goldens!
Lillian Yoder
Team Member
Having grown up on a farm, Lillian has a deep love for animals and loves seeing them thrive! Her specialties within Buckeye Goldens include caring for the adult Goldens and overseeing puppy whelping. Lil is a NASM certified personal trainer who enjoys coaching and helping others reach their fitness and nutritional goals.

If you take advantage of our to your door delivery services, you might get to meet Markus! Currently studying psychology in college, Markus is a thinker who enjoys candid conversations, Indian food, and a hearty laugh!

A young married husband and father, Micah (R) also raises 3-6 litters of Goldens each year! A plumber by trade, Micah spends a lot of his time running his AirBnB, doing service calls, and investing in real estate.
